Washington County Soil & Water Conservation District
Tree & Shrub
Our annual Spring Tree Program offers a variety of evergreens and deciduous trees, wildlife shrubs, wildflower seeds, and a popular groundcover for maintenance free erosion control. Some of the more popular uses for these plant materials include reforestation, windbreaks, property border and screens, wildlife food and cover, Christmas trees, and just the overall aesthetic benefit they add to your property. Some, especially the blueberries are also an excellent source of food for both man and beast!
The order form is ready by late January each year, and pickup takes place at the Washington County Fairgrounds in late April. Take some time to review the order form and call us if you have any questions prior to ordering.
The 2021 Tree and Shrub Order Form is now closed. Thank you for pre-ordering! Orders can be picked up at the USDA Service Center, 2530 State Route 40 in Greenwich on Friday, April 23, from 9 am to 5 pm or Saturday, April 24, from 9 am to noon.
