Water Quality Coordinating Committee

In 1979 the Washington County SWCD was designated by the County Board of Supervisors as lead agency in matters of nonpoint source water quality management. Over the years the WQCC has helped to improve the water quality of Washington County through public education and community-based projects. The WQCC works with municipalities, businesses, non-profits and individuals to identify water quality concerns within the county and collaborate on solutions.

If you would like to be involved with the WQCC please contact Ashley Leemans at Ashley.Leemans@ny.nacdnet.net.
